* To get rims polished, tires and valve stems must be removed

* Make sure parts are "raw". Annodized, painted or chromed parts must be stripped.

* Never sand blast or bead blast parts before polishing. This leaves foreign material imbedded in the casting and causes positive metal.

* Do not attempt to grind or sand your parts yourself to save a few dollars. In most cases you will do more harm than good.

* Treat your parts gently before and after polishing. The more scratches and dings there are    the more it will cost to polsih them

* Polished parts should be washed with Dawn dish sap and a t-shirt type material rag. Aftera good cleaning a simple Turtle Wax application and you are good to go!

* Parts with bearings should have bearings removed prior to polishing. If this si not an option oil, gas, grease and bearing outlets should be taped off with duct tape to prevent polishing compounds from contaminating vital motor components.

* Polishing is an art. Pricing is dependent upon the condition of the raw material and the time it takes to make it look like a show piece.A price list is provided for reference only. Pricing will always depend on time and materials used to get the job done right!

* Quotes for polishing are much easier to give when we can see the original condition of the material. We do provide quotes based on drawings and past experience but please be aware that quotes are subject to change.
